Trekking in Nepal Himalaya
Trekking in Nepal is the most popular activity in Nepal. Trekking meaning walking in the mountain rural area, passing through beautiful scenery, lovely mountains villages, natural waterfall, paddy farm etc. In another word, Trekking in Nepal is making a journey on foot, especially to hike through mountainous areas often for several days and enjoying nature or close contact with people in remote mountain villages where lifestyle sometimes is unchanged since many generations.
The walking itself is usually not too difficult, you will enjoy and experience the adventurous with the real-life scenario in mountain areas or in remote area. In case of Nepal, Nepal has many places where people can easily do trek for 1 days up to months.
We offer two types of trekking in Nepal
A. Lodge Trek: Our treks are always led by professional licensed guide together with assistance guides and your big backpack will be carried by our porters. Stay overnight at local lodges in the mountain. They have very simple accommodation twin or triple bed room normally without attach bathroom. We provide you the good sleeping bag with inner lining for every trekker. All meals will be served in the lodges. We will bring along some supplements food items which is not available in the mountain like fresh fruits, meat items etc. We also provide cook who look after food and drinks if bigger size group.
B. Camping Trek: Camping trek is more adventures trek than lodge trek. We will stay overnight at outdoor tented camp, we will provide foam mattress, sleeping bags with inner lining for every trekker. Trek will lead by professional license guide together with assistance guides and porters will carry all the camping equipment’s including your big backpack and tents, food, fuels, all supplies gears will be carried by our porters. Cook will prepare our meals daily (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) something different day by day.
Trekkers without trekking experience are offered a diverse range of easy and pleasant walking treks somewhere near Kathmandu valley rim or Pokhara valley rim trek which are easy 2 to 3 hrs. walking daily. The trek involves no difficult climbing or ascents to high altitudes, maximum elevation would be 2100m. It is usually 2-4 days trekking and suitable for everyone kids to elderly. However, it is not loss of height means loss of interest while lower altitude treks often provide colorful horizons of a whole series of mountain ranges. The easy treks are considered of full access of tea houses and low altitude. We also have another option which is nepal liesure tour, there is no trekking involve.
Moderate treks are more challenging than easy trek. You have to be physically fit and ready to walk 5-6hrs daily. In general, they are longer than roughly 10 days walking up and down climb to higher altitudes around 3000m-3500 above sea level. At this altitude, you will be rewarded with close-up views of bigger mountains.
This is more challenging trek, you have to be physically fit and mentally repapered for the real adventures. Basic training is required before the trekking. Trekkers should have some previous mountain walking experience moderate -hard treks. These treks ascend to high altitudes (up to 5500m) and involve some steep climbing, although it is never necessary to use ropes etc.
