The trek starts from Phedi, an hour drive away from Pokhara. The trail passes through the scenic Gurung villages of Dhampus, Landruk and Ghandruk. At Ghandruk, you’ll get to experience authentic ethnic Gurung culture. Gurungs are ethnic hill tribe best known for their bravery in Gurkha forces. After immersing with Gurung culture, we’ll hike up to Ghorepani (2850m) via Taadpani. At Ghorepani, you’ll do a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill for the sunrise view. The descend is via a different route through Tikhedunga (1525m) to Nayapul, where we will board a jeep to drive back to Pokhara.
