  1. Gokyo Lakes: The trek takes you to the spectacular Gokyo Lakes (Dudh Pokhari), a series of turquoise glacial lakes set amidst the backdrop of towering snow-capped peaks.
  2. Gokyo Ri Summit: At an altitude of 5,357 meters (17,575 feet), this is a highlight of the trek. From here, you get panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and the entire Khumbu region.
  3. Everest Base Camp: After exploring Gokyo, you head to Everest Base Camp (EBC), the iconic starting point for summiting Everest. It offers awe-inspiring views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding peaks.
  4. Cho La Pass (5,420m / 17,782ft): One of the most challenging parts of the trek, this high mountain pass connects Gokyo to the main Everest Base Camp route. The pass involves some scrambling and is a physically demanding section but is incredibly rewarding with dramatic views.
  5. Cultural Experience: The trek passes through traditional Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar, Dingboche, and Phortse, offering insight into Sherpa culture and the unique mountain lifestyle.
