Itinerary
Assemble at Changi Airport terminal 3 at 07:45 and fly to Colombo. Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport Sri Lanka. Welcome by a Brothers International representative, transfer to Negombo. Lunch at restaurant.
City tour of Negombo. Visit the remaining of the Dutch period, a Buddhist temple and a Catholic church. See a fishing village, the fish market and the bazaar.
Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Negombo.
After Breakfast leave for Dambulla via Pinnawala. Visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location.
Lunch at restaurant, after lunch proceed to visit Dambulla. This rock cave temple built by king Walagambahu, in the 1st Century B.C. it is a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.
Breakfast at the hotel, explore the Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a World Heritage site of 5th century AD, built by the King Kashyapa. Its home to water gardens, frescoes, ancient graffiti and commands an amazing view of Sri Lanka’s greenery. Afternoon drive to Kandy. En route to Kandy visit a spice garden at Matale to learn about species and their use in Sri Lankan cuisines. Check in at hotel and relax. Later in the evening view a performance of cultural dances. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to sightseeing tour of Kandy. Visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, upper lake drive, Gem museum, Art & craft center & the market area. Lunch at restaurant. Afterwards visit the botanical gardens in Peradeniya. Evening at leisure at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara eliya, known as “Little England” of Sri Lanka. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. Lunch at restaurant. The town is set against a beautiful backdrop of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea gardens. Nuwara eliya is one of the coldest places in the island, with a weather of almost like a spring day in England. The temperature will drop at night and taking a warm jersey is recommended. Check in at hotel and relax. Later make a city tour of Nuwara Eliya. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara eliya.
Breakfast at the hotel, proceed for 4-hour day hike tour will take you on the top of Single Tree Hill, the ninth tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Catch the incredible sight of many of the tallest mountains in Sri Lanka in one panoramic view. Get some great photographs. Have a picnic lunch by the lake at the end of your hike.
You will be starting your hike at 7:30am near the Race Course in Nuwara Eliya Town. After a brief description of the route and track by your hiking guide, you will be starting you hike through the tea estates at 8:00 am. Single Tree Hill, or One Tree Hill as it is also called, is the 9th tallest mountain of the country and stands at 2100m from sea level. However, since it only rises 250 m above Nuwara Eliya city, it gives the appearance and feel of a hill. However, the views from the top are unparalleled.
This is a short brisk hike with minimal difficulties, perfect for some exercise. You will be reaching the top quite quickly, at approximately 10:30am. You will be able to see many sights such as the mountains Piduruthalagala, Sri Pada and Hakgalla and many others depending on the weather of the day. You can also see great views of Nuwara Eliya and Lake Gregory. After spending a relaxing hour on the summit, enjoying the view and taking some photos, you will be hiking back at 11:30am. Lunch at restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel, drive for the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. Travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka. Drive through Kithulgala. Lunch at restaurant. Check in at beach hotel and relax by the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in South West Coast Beach.
Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Colombo which is capital city of Sri Lanka. Lunch on the way at restaurant.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After short rest city tour of Colombo. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old-world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and Buddhist temple, residential areas where you can find the stately homes of affluent, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People’s Republic of China. Thereafter, do a shopping tour of Colombo. Evening transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
