10.20am: Meet at the waiting area on the second floor of Harbourfront Ferry Terminal (Near the Toast Box outlet, beside the departure hall.)
11.00am: Clear the security immigration check point and wait in the boarding lounge
11.25am: Board the ferry
11.40am: Depart for Tanjung Balai
12.30pm: Arrive at Tanjung Balai Ferry Terminal, clear immigration and customs
(Note that Indonesia time is one hour behind Singapore time)
12.50pm: Board the tour bus, await outside the checkpoint
1.00pm: Lunch at a local seafood restaurant
1.45pm: Board the bus and proceed to the hotel
2.00pm: At 21 Karimun Hotel, check into your respective room
2.30pm: Board the bus (awaits at the hotel parking lot)
Visit Vihara Buddha Diepa (Sung Ta Fung Buddhist temple), majestic
Visit Masjid Agung, a grand mosque
Trekking 10 minutes to Pongkar Waterfall (30m in height)
Visit Ketam Beach, relax in the seaside shanty hut, enjoy freshly cut coconut
Visit Guadalupe Church, a famous local Catholic church
6:00pm: Return to hotel, if time permits, or else proceed to restaurant
7.00pm: At seafood restaurant, dinner
7.50pm: Board bus
8.00pm: Visit a supermarket
8:40 pm: Proceed to massage center, enjoy 1.5 hours traditional massage at Rp170,000 or go back to hotel, for members not wishing to massage At the hotel (free and easy)
Enjoy Karaoke singing at the hotel meeting room or have a drink at the hotel bistro and sing some songs
Take a stroll along the seafront (1 km stretch fronting the hotel), observe the street hawker stalls plying their fares
10.30pm: Bus fetches members, if any, from the massage centre, to go back to the hotel
11.00pm: Good night

7.00am: Buffet breakfast at hotel restaurant (halal)
8.30am: Board the bus and leave the hotel
Arrive at the domestic ferry terminal, board a powered-boat to a neighbouring island, on the island ride on a motorcycle with carriage for 6 people, for a round trip of the kampong, sing some karaoke songs at the seafront shack while enjoying freshly plucked coconut, ride the boat
to cruise along Tanjung Balai seafront and stop at a fish farm along the strait. May buy some fish home (fish to be cleaned and chilled overnight before being packed into styrofoam box to bring
home. Self expense).

12.00nn: Return to the hotel and have lunch (or go for Bak Kut Teh lunch)
1.00pm: Free and easy after lunch
1.45pm: Board bus and leave the hotel
Visit bird-nests’ merchant, learn about the different grades and prices of bird's nest. Enjoy a cup of freshly brewed bird-nests (On the house). Do buy some home as the price is usually very much lower than in Singapore.
Visit Jalan Nusantara, the main street of Tanjung Balai and walk along the old shophouses, selling batik clothes, clothing, T-shirts, shoes, bags, luggage etc.
Visit a local product shop (look out for sea cucumber, fish maw, shark fins, dried prawns and
squids, crackers, peanuts etc).
Proceed to Pelawan Beach, relax and enjoy the sunset scene.
6.30pm: Take the bus to the seafood restaurant (halal)
7.00pm: Arrive at restaurant, dinner begins
7.50pm: Board bus
8.00pm: Visit the Night Market (plying low cost products like T-shirts, caps, shoes, local
souvenirs etc)
8.30pm: Return to hotel - free and easy. Karaoke singing, if you like.
11.00pm: Good night
