Your adventure begins in Islamabad, Pakistan’s modern capital, before taking a breathtaking mountain flight to Skardu, the gateway to the mighty Karakoram. Explore Skardu’s extraordinary landscapes, where rugged mountains, peaceful lakes, fertile valleys and high-altitude desert scenery create an unforgettable introduction to northern Pakistan.

Continue overland towards Gilgit and Hunza Valley, travelling through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in Asia. Hunza is famous for its magnificent views, traditional villages, fruit orchards and fascinating cultural heritage. Historic Baltit Fort and Altit Fort provide a glimpse into the valley’s long history, while the surrounding mountains include impressive 7,000-metre peaks.

Journey further into Upper Hunza to experience the brilliant blue waters of Attabad Lake, the spectacular Passu Cones, mountain villages and the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Depending on the final itinerary and local conditions, the journey can also extend towards Khunjerab Pass, one of the great high-altitude attractions of the region.

Another highlight is an excursion into Nagar and Hopper Valley, where travellers can experience a quieter side of the Karakoram surrounded by dramatic peaks and glacier landscapes. Hopper Glacier is officially listed among Gilgit-Baltistan’s notable tourist attractions.
