After breakfast, Drive past the Red Fort, the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire, followed by a sightseeing drive along Raj Ghat and through the bustling, colorful markets of Old Delhi. Continue to New Delhi, designed by the British in the 1920s, known for its wide boulevards, government buildings, parks, and gardens. Drive past India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s Palace. After lunch, drive to Agra (185 km, 4 hours). Check in, dinner, and overnight stay at hotel.

took 22 years and involved over 20,000 skilled workers. Next, visit Agra Fort, a red sandstone fortress built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and later completed by his grandson Shah Jahan. Explore the Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas, whose walls and palaces stand as silent witnesses to the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire. Later, observe local craftsmen creating fine marble inlay work and browse for Taj Mahal souvenirs. Continue to Abhaneri to visit the famous Chand Baori stepwell near Dausa, one of the deepest and largest in the world. Later, drive to Jaipur (200 km, approximately 4.5 hours). Jaipur, known as the “Pink City,” is the capital of the colorful state of Rajasthan. After breakfast, depart from the hotel to visit Amber Fort, a marvelous example of Rajputana architecture, with its terraces and ramparts beautifully reflected in the Maota Lake below. Ascend the fort on the back of a gaily caparisoned elephant, recreating the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interior of the fort features magnificent royal halls adorned with intricate ivory, mirror, and glasswork, complemented by exquisite wall paintings. After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jodhpur (approximately 300 km, about 5 hours) or take an optional flight to Jodhpur (USD90). Jodhpur is the second-largest city in Rajasthan, famously known as the Blue City of the Rathore Rajputs. Overlooked by the majestic Mehrangarh Fort,
many houses are painted blue, traditionally using copper sulphate, giving the city its distinctive color. Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the blue houses in the old town. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Jodhpur.

The fort is located on a hilltop about 122 meters above the surrounding plains and was originally constructed in 1459 by the Rajput ruler Rao Jodha, although most of the existing structures date back to the 17th century. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. From its ramparts, enjoy breathtaking views of Jodhpur city. Later, visit the Clock Tower and the vibrant Sardar Market, followed by a stop at a pottery center.
