Today is one of the most exciting and memorable days of your Upper Mustang Trek, as you journey to the legendary Lo Manthang, the ancient capital of The Last Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal. After breakfast, leave Charang (Tsarang) and descend into the dramatic Charang Chu Canyon before crossing the river and beginning a steady climb toward the Lo Pass (3,850 m). Leaving Lo Manthang, travel through the traditional village of Gyakar before arriving at the legendary Ghar Gompa, one of the oldest monasteries in Upper Mustang. Believed to be over 1,200 years old, this sacred monastery was founded by the great Buddhist master Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), who played a vital role in introducing Buddhism to the Himalayan region.

Drakmar to Ghiling – Scenic Return Through the Hidden Valleys of Upper Mustang

After breakfast, continue your return journey through the spectacular landscapes of Upper Mustang – The Last Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal. Today's trek from Drakmar to Ghiling takes approximately 5–6 hours, following ancient Himalayan trails through dramatic canyons, colorful cliffs, and traditional Tibetan villages.

As you make your way across the high-altitude desert terrain, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains, unique rock formations, and vast open valleys that make Upper Mustang one of Nepal's most extraordinary trekking destinations. We trek back to Ghiling for the overnight stop after 5 hrs walk. You will have wonderful scenery during the journey with a Himalayan view. Enjoy your trip and overnight at teahouse.

Last day of our trek. We start early as before and trek to Kagbeni. Finishing the upper Mustang trails and we join the normal Annapurna circuit trek. After lunch at Kagbeni will head on to Jomsom for the overnight stop.

After morning breakfast we check in the airport to fly back to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon free at leisure your own activities. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we start our 200 kilometers drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
