The trek from Junbesi to Phaplu is a pleasant and relatively easy descent through picturesque villages, terraced farmland, and forested trails. Along the way, trekkers experience authentic rural Nepali life and can interact with local Sherpa communities. The trail offers occasional glimpses of
distant Himalayan peaks and peaceful landscapes, making it ideal for photography and relaxation. Arrive in Phaplu (≈2,380 m) in the afternoon, where a comfortable lodge awaits. Overnight stay in Phaplu allows trekkers to rest and prepare for the drive back to Kathmandu.
