18 Days Hiunchuli Peak Climbing Adventure in Nepal – Conquer the Annapurna HimalayasNepal ExpeditionsNepal Peak ClimbingNepal trekking and expeditionTrekking in Himalays
Hiunchuli Peak Climbing Expedition to one of the Annapurna region’s most challenging and rewarding trekking peaks. Also commonly written as Himchuli Peak, this magnificent mountain rises to 6,441 metres (21,132 feet) within the spectacular Annapurna Massif of central Nepal. Although often overshadowed by neighbouring Annapurna South and the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), Hiunchuli offers experienced climbers a quieter and more authentic Himalayan mountaineering adventure.
The journey usually begins in Pokhara and follows scenic trails through traditional Gurung villages, rhododendron forests and the dramatic landscapes of the Annapurna Sanctuary. After reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 metres, climbers continue towards Hiunchuli’s technical climbing route. The ascent involves steep snow and ice sections, challenging route-finding, fixed ropes and the careful use of essential mountaineering equipment. Excellent physical fitness, previous climbing experience and proper acclimatisation are strongly recommended.
