Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport, transfer to city centre.
Morning city tour: visit Ho Chi Minh’s House, museum and His Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of October-November), One-Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit the and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university. Approx. 05:30, Arrival at Lao Cai, the border town to Yunnan. Transfer to Sapa on winding roads up the mountains. On clear days, you can see Fansipan mountain on the way, enjoy the beautiful landscape and visit the bustling Sa Pa Market where the Red Dao, Black Hmong, Tay and Xa Pho ethnic minorities converge from the nearby mountainsides and valleys to trade their goods and buy provisions.
After breakfast, leave luggage at hotel, you will star a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Then, continue trekking 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way and take a jeep to return to Sapa.

Morning: Proceed to Tam Coc to visit “Halong Bay on land” – the same limestone rocks as in Halong Bay but seen from a winding stream through paddy fields instead of the sea.
