Continue to visit the and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university. Afternoon : Check in hotel . Free at leisure or own ‘s discovery Hanoi Old Quarter , walking to Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful green waters, The Huc Bridge, Thap But (Pen Tower) and visit Ngoc Son temple. Free for shopping tour in the Hanoi Old Quarter.
Dinner and in the evening you will attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Morning : transfer to Halong Bay (165 km east of Hanoi), listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Noon time, you will board the wooden junk to visit Halong Bay. While cruising through the bay, seafood lunch is served on board. Continue cruising to visit caves; islands, floating fishing village and relax on the board. Evening, enjoy movie night, board games, and squid fishing or relax at leisure . 07.15: Cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served. Continue the cruise through Halong Bay.
09.30: Check-out the cabin. Having international buffet brunch and finished at 11:00
11.00: Back Halong pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Check in hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Hanoi.
Evening :Transfer to Hanoi train station. Overnight regular public train trip to Lao Cai in shared sleeping compartments (sharing 2 lower & 2 upper berths per compartment). Train departs at approximately 21:15hrs
Approx. 05:30, Arrival at Lao Cai, the border town to Yunnan. Transfer to Sapa on winding roads up the mountains. On clear days, you can see Fansipan mountain on the way, enjoy the beautiful landscape and visit the bustling Sa Pa Market where the Red Dao, Black Hmong, Tay and Xa Pho ethnic minorities converge from the nearby mountainsides and valleys to trade their goods and buy provisions.
After breakfast, leave luggage at hotel, you will star a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Then, continue trekking 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way and take a jeep to return to Sapa.
Afternoon : transfer back to hotel. Check in and have free time to see the local market, local Stone church, shopping tours in boutique shops in the center of Sapa or free clump to Ham Rong mountain ( ticket is under your account).
Dinner and Overnight in Sapa.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Leave luggage at the hotel lobby. Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. You to discover their daily life, works and special custom, enjoy landscapes…Have a picnic lunch on the way. Back to Sapa. Free time for quick shopping and relax. Then we drive to Lao Cai to overnight train trip to Hanoi in shared sleeping compartments of regular train (sharing with other passengers in 2 lower & 2 upper berths per compartment). Train departs at approximately 20:15hrs
Morning: Proceed to Tam Coc to visit “Halong Bay on land” – the same limestone rocks as in Halong Bay but seen from a winding stream through paddy fields instead of the sea. Enjoy spectacular scenery during the boat trip to Tam Coc caves with visit of the Bich DHalong Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon: Transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight in Hanoi.
Leisure time until transfer to Hanoi/ Noi Bai International Airport for departure.
