Kathmandu Pokhara Muktinath Tour package combines the visit to holy sites and popular temples in Nepal. This tour is suitable for everyone and especially for family and group. The temples include Pashupatinath, Manakamana, Muktinath along with other Temples during sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Muktinath (3,710m), a holy site revered by Hindus and Buddhists alike, is located in the Muktinath valley of northwestern Nepal. This place is known as Mukti Kshetra, which means the “place of liberation or moksha”. Hundreds of thousands of devotees visit the place for pilgrimage each year. They take shower in the cold streams located inside the temple premise. Next they visit the Jwala Mai temple, a shrine where flames burn continuously on the water itself. Muktinath can be one of the destinations for adventure traveling and leisure while observing cultural and religious aspects of Nepal. People from diverse ethnic background like Gurung, Magar, Thakali and Managi call Muktinath their home, making it even more colourful and interesting.
We offer both private and group tour packages. Aside from Pashupatinath and Muktinath temples, you will also have opportunity to visit Manakamana Temple on a cable car. There’s plenty of shrines and holy temples in Kathmandu, in addition to sightseeing, leisurely activities in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
For adventure seekers, short trekking can be combined in this tour. The trekking portion will start from Jomsom. It takes you from the aesthetically pleasing lowland of Pokhara through the deepest gorge in the world “Kali Gandaki” to the vastly uninhabited plateau of Upper Mustang. It also passes through parts of Annapurna circuit trek zone . The trek is suitable for anyone with moderate level of fitness. Jomsom Muktinath trek is a unique mixture of cultural journey, adventure travel and eco-tour in the high Himalayas.
Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, evening you'll meet and transfer for a welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel.
We will being our tour with an early morning puja at Pashupatinath Temple (special puja and visit to sanctum can be arranged with additional fee). After puja and visit to Pashupatinath temple, drive back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley will begin with visit to Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess). Overnight stay in hotel.
Early morning drive to Pokhara through the beautiful Nepalese countryside, valley and mountain river. En-route you can visit Manakamana Temple through Cable Car (optional and Cable Car ticket US$20 per person to be paid directly at the station). This ride gives breathtaking views of Hills, Mountains, forests, little farming villages and the ride through the clouds. After puja at Manakamana (wish fulfilling) temple and lunch, we'll continue our drive to Pokhara. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and rest of the time explore the surrounding lakeside areas and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast morning flight to Jomsom, a super scenic flight of 20 minutes brings you at Jomsom, the district headquarters of Mustang. After a short break at Jomsom, we'll board a jeep and drive to Muktinath (20km, 2-3 hrs). On the way you can enjoy the scenery of nature beauty places, gorge of Gandaki river, Monastery & Kagbeni. Upon arrival at Ranipauwa (3710m), check in to the hotel, and rest overnight.
Early morning, we walk to Muktinath temple (30min) where you will have holy bath on 108 waterspouts known as “Muktidhara” and in front of temple there is two kunda known as Muktikunda. After darshan and puja, walk to Jwalamai Temple, a holy shrine where continuously burning flame under water can be seen.
Walk back to hotel and after breakfast, drive back to Jomsom by Jeep (2-3 hrs) and overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Jomsom airport for a short and scenic flight back to Pokhara.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. After a short break – we will go for Pokhara sightseeing where you will visit following sites:
Bindhyabasini Temple, Davis Fall, Seti River Gorge, Gupteshwor Cave, Barahi Temple, Fewa Lake.
Overnight stay in Pokhara hotel.
Wake up early in the morning (ard. 4am) and take a short drive to Sharangkot, a hill station for a stunning sunrise view over the Himalayas. On clear days, you will see sunrise over the mighty Himalayan peaks of Mt Fishtail, Mt Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Mt Annapurna and other mountain ranges.
Drive back to hotel for breakfast and the road journey continues to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check in to the hotel. Free and easy evening.
Our representative will meet you at your hotel 3hrs before your scheduled flight to transfer to the international airport to catch your flight back home.
