The three cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra also collectively makes the most famous tourist circuit of India’s Golden Triangle, while Kashmir is one of the most beautiful hill stations of India adorned by the mighty Himalayas. The beautiful valleys and meadows spread across the state give you an experience close to the nature. Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Srinagar are the major tourist attractions of Kashmir. There are multiple ski resorts, trekking trails, religious places located in the state, this is what our tour gives you an opportunity to explore.

The other places to visit in this tour are Jaipur, Delhi and Agra. Delhi has a lot to offer with its rich history, street food, several markets and malls. The right blend of historical and modern architecture can be seen in Delhi. Jaipur highlights the Rajputana history and culture through historical monuments like Jaipur City Palace, Jal Mahal, Jaigrah Fort, etc. Agra has a lot to offer with the UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.

Itinerary

Day 01: Singapore – Delhi (Meal on board)

Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Delhi International Airport. Upon arrival, our representative will meet and greet, and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Delh -Srinagar (Kashmir) (BLD)

After breakfast, transfer to domestic airport for a flight to Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir. Upon arrival in Srinagar situated at height 5200 ft above sea level, a Kashmiri warm welcome greets you on arrival at airport. Then transfer to deluxe houseboat which are anchored on famous Dal Lake. The water world of the Dal Lake is amazingly clear and houseboats have been a part of Kashmir’s aquatic culture for centuries. After lunch at your houseboat visit famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat (Garden of pleasure) overlooking the crystal clear Emerald green waters of the Dal lake then to Shalimar (Garden of Love) built by Mughal emperors. During Spring until Autumn these gardens are full of flowers. Also pay a visit to Kashmiri famous hand-knotted silk carpet weaving factory for good bargains. Dinner and stay at Bostan Premium Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 03: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (BLD)

After breakfast enjoy full day excursion to Gulmarg 58km one way (Meadow of Flowers) at a height of 8,800ft above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest Green Golf course in the world with 18 holes. En-route stop at few villages to witness the country life of Kashmiris. Gulmarg has developed into a famous Ski resort. One can view Nanga Parbat (26,600ft) above sea level if weather permits. After hot lunch take a gondola ride (cable car) high above the meadows and snow covered slopes of Apherwat and Khilanmarg mountain from 8800 ft to 10200ft ,which provide a play ground for skiing, pony ride and skating, Return to Srinagar and enroute visit Jamma Masjid the biggest mosque in Kashmir built in the 14th century, a beautiful architectural work with influence from Central Asia and China with four Pagoda type minarets. Walk through spice market in the late afternoon and return to Houseboat after freshen up for a cruise on Dal Lake to vist the Floating garden, Lotus garden (summers), back waters of the lake, cruise will go through canals. Enjoy sun set on Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight on houseboat.

Day 04: Srinagar-Sonamarg (Hill Resort) (BLD)

After breakfast, we drive with packed lunch to Sonamarg 86km (meadow of Gold) at 8,900ft above sea level. The drive to Sonamarg is very beautiful along the Sindh river, enroute stop at Kangan town, an interesting small town where the mountain people from the surrounding valleys come down for trading. The meadows of Sonamarg have a spectacular beauty from the strewn with the loveliest of Alpine flowers, lots of fir and pine and silver birch trees. Once you reach Sonamarg you feel like you are in Swiss Alps, with breath taking sceneries all around. After enjoying your picnic lunch pony trek (own expenses) to Thajwas glaciers. In the afternoon, drive back to Srinagar. For dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Srinagar-Delhi-Jaipur (BLD)

After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi meet and drive to Jaipur 245km (approx. 5hrs), and check in to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Jaipur (BLD)

After breakfast at hotel, our morning tour takes us to Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Pratap Singh and was royal Grandstand for Palace women to view the city in privacy. Photo stop, visit Amber Fort the capital of the state for six centuries before Jaipur was built. It is set on a steep hill and the palace is laid down at different levels on hillsides and encircled by Fortress. Also enjoy the elephant ride and jeep ride up to the fort, later visit City Palace, which was the principal residence of the former ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. After this, drive through the pink city. You can enjoy some shopping along the way. Jaipur is famous for textiles and gems. You may also want to visit local markets for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 07: Jaipur-Agra (BLD)

After breakfast, drive 234km to Agra.
Upon arrival, buffet lunch at Hotel and embark on your memorable visit of 2 Unesco World Heritage Sites- Taj Mahal and Agra Fort! At Taj Mahal, walk along the pathway beside the reflecting pool with fountains up to the mausoleum crafted in soft and pure marble and jewelled with semi-precious stones, where in the serenity of paradise rests the Queen in peace with her King. Come to unfold the pages from the past to churn the charm out of its mystique and enrich your imagination about this marvel of an epic in stone at The Taj! It is also a legend of eternal love of an Emperor for his favourite Queen which took 22 years to complete. Near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th century Mughal monument known as the Agra Fort. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses within its 2.5km long, enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal ruler with multiple palaces and architectural wonders. Not far away is the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, a Mughal mausoleum. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
Dinner and over night stay in Agra hotel.

Day 08: Agra - Delhi (BLD)

After breakfast, drive 165km to Delhi (approx. 3.5hrs). On arrival lunch at North Indian tandoori restaurant and freshen up to visit Jamma Mosque (biggest Mosque in India), drive past Red Fort next to New Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar Complex, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture. It is the World’s largest brick Minaret built by Sultan Qutub-ud-din Aibak. Its construction began in the year 1193 AD to mark the first Muslim Rule in India, followed by a sightseeing drive that takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajghat, past the imposing India Gate war 42 meter high memorial Arch is a tribute to the 90,000 Indian Soldiers killed during World War 1. Dive past the Parliament and, President’s Palace built in 1929 once the imperial residence of the British Viceroys and official residence of the President of India later visit Local market of Lajpath Nagar central market for materials, dresses and saris and souvenirs. Farewell dinner at Chinese restaurant there after transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 09: Fly Home (B)

Early breakfast at hotel and transfer to Delhi International airport for flight to Singapore. Home sweet home with fond memories of India, Taj Mahal and Kashmir.
