The term ‘Kathmandu’ has been derived from the combination of two Sanskrit words, ‘Kaasth’ meaning wood and ‘Mandap’ meaning beautiful shade. Since 1960s, Kathmandu has been very popular with western tourists. Thamel, situated at the heart of the city, is a tourist hub and a favorite hangout place for Nepali youths. 130 historic monuments, temples, monasteries, palaces and other cultural heritage of Kathmandu showcase the finest display of architectural masterpiece like intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings and metalwork facades. Pokhara: Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal. Pokhara offers panoramic views of snowcapped mountains such as the Annapurnas and thefamous "Fishtail" mountain peak of Machapuchare, which tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara. Pokhara is located 200 km away from Kathmandu and is a major holiday destination for both domestic and international tourists. It is most popular for its lakes Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. Exploring the deep-seated mysteries of intriguing caves like Mahendra Gupha will further heighten your spirit of adventure. The Devil's Fall and the gorge of the Seti River are the other places for sightseeing. After entering Pokhara you will be totally captivated by true ambience of nature and its exquisite beauty
DAY 1: ARRIVE – KATHMANDU (Dinner)
Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport, you will meet our staff and transfer to hotel. After short rest, we will visit the Swayambhunath Temple, said to be 2500 years Stupa on a hillock, which offers a breath-taking view of Kathmandu City and the Sunset view. This Stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument Listed in 1979.Next; we will visit historic Kathmandu Durbar Square (Hanuman Dhoka) if you are lucky, you will be able to have a glance of the famous living Goddess of Nepal name Kumari, Nepalese traditional cultural show with dinner at restaurant. After dinner you will be able to stroll along the busy street of Kathmandu city center. Overnight Kathmandu.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU – POKHARA FEWA LAKE & MT ANNAPURNA RANGES (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we’ll depart Kathmandu to begin on the journey to Chitwan National Park. On the way, we can experience optional Whitewater rafting trip (per person at USD60) The journey takes about 4-5 hours from Kathmandu-Chitwan national park. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Lunch will be served in the resort, after lunch we will proceed for Tharu village tour. Dinner and Overnight stay at Chitwan National park.
DAY 03: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (B,L,D)
The Royal National Park (960sq Kms), formerly a royal hunting reserve, lies in the low land Tarai zone of Southern Nepal. If is home to an extraordinary range of the world’s rarest animals and birds. Today, we’ll enjoy the bird watching, followed by the jungle walk on the elephant back safari through the jungle and canoe ride, Tharu cultural show in the evening. Overnight stay at Chitwan National park.
DAY 04: CHITWAN – POKHARA FEWA LAKE & MT ANNAPURNA RANGES (B,L,D)
Today we will travel to Pokhara by coach (5-hour) Passing through beautiful landscape, paddy farm, river, tiny villages etc. Pokhara is located 200 kilometer west of Kathmandu city. This is second largest city of Nepal. It is a most beautiful city with lakes and panoramic view of Annapurna Himalayan ranges. The Annapurnas and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchare over the tropical setting of Pokhara valley. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 05: POKHARA – TREK TO SHARANKOT VILLAGE- 2hour walk (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, short drive to Sharankot (First View point) start our trek to Sharankot village Hill top. Lunch will be served at Hill top. After lunch,side excursion around village. Sharankot hill is one of the most beautiful view point in the world. This Hill top is situated at elevation of 1500 meter from sea level. It will offer magnificent view of snowcapped mountain in the north & city view of Pokhara including beautiful lake. overnight stay in Sharankot hill lodge.
DAY 06: SHARANKOT –SUNRISE VIEW –DRIVE TO POKHARA (B,L,D)
An early morning beautiful sunrise with view of snowcapped Himalaya. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, 20 minute walk down hill and catch bus back to Pokhara. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. After lunch, we will set off for city tour, also called “Magic land or Dreamland” of Nepal. Devi’s fall, Mahadevgupteswor Cave And Tibetan refugee camp, you can see at Tibetan refugee camp Their way of life specially the women knitting hand make carpet factory, which is best quality made from mountain goat’s special wool. Later we will have lunch near Lakeside. After lunch, we will go for (Optional) mini trek up to the newly built World Peace Stupa. Up above at 1050m high, you will be able to see the beautiful heart shape Fewa Lake and the entire city view of Pokhara. Tonight you get to enjoy the beautiful Cultural Folk Dance while having a sumptuous dinner. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 07: POKHARA – KATHMANDU– NAGARKOT (B,L,D)
Depart Pokhara to Kathmandu 200 KL by coach or domestic flight (USD 110 optional) Upon arrival in Kathmandu, drive to Nagarkot, 2300m above seal-level, this scenic spot, with a spectacular view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. In the evening, watch the sunset of the Himalayan at Nagarkot, Country Villa Hotel or similar.
DAY 08:NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU – SINGAPORE (B)
After breakfast, 1hrs drive to Kathmandu airport and fly home
