    Tibet, used to be the mysterious, legendary and unknown Roof of the World, hidden and almost unreachable behind the highest mountains in the world can be easily reached today from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province to Lhasa. This is the safest way for visitors to travel to Tibet.

    Day 1 Arrival in Chengdu
    Upon arrival in Chengdu, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a rest before you are taken out for dinner of Sichuan cuisine at a local restaurant. stay overnight at Chengdu.

    Day 2: Chengdu – Nyingchi (Linzhi) by Air. 2hrs flight. Elevation 2900 meters ( Breakfast )Upon arrival, meet by our guide and drive toward to hotel. On the way visit Lama Ling Monastery . Drive to Hotel and check in. Side excursion at bank of Nyeng chu River with mountain view (just opposite hotel)

    Day 3 Nyinchi – Lulang Forest- Bashum Tso (lake) (3,700m) ( Breakfast )

    Return to resort, Dinner and rest.

    Day 4 Travel Day: Nyingchi – Lhasa. (7-8hrs drive) Elevation 3,650m ( Breakfast )Breakfast @ hotel, Start our journey to Lhasa
    Lunch on the way Arrive Lhasa in the late afternoon, transfer to hotel. Dinner and rest.

    Day 5 Lhasa full day Tour (Breakfast)
    The overwhelming Potala Palace is your first stupa this morning. As the symbol of Tibet, it was built in 641 AD and was the winter palace of Dalai Lama who is Tibet’s pope. Impressive Tibetan architecture, huge golden Buddha statues, red-robed lamas and devoted pilgrims all make it a must-visit.In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet. Every day, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek here from long distances to worship. Finally, walk the special circular pilgrimage route as local followers always do at Barkhor Street.

    Day 6: Lhasa Tour
    Breakfast @ hotel, visit Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Tibet Museum
    Drepung Monastery: abt 8km west of central Lhasa, Drepung was once one of the world’s largest monasteries. The word Drepung literally translates as ‘rice heap’, a reference to the huge numbers of white monastic buildings that once piled up on the hill side.

    Sera Monastery: approximately 5km north of central Lhasa, Sera Monastery was one of Lhasa’s two great Gelugpa monasteries, second only to Drepung. Between 3pm~5pm of Monday to Friday, debating is held in the monastery’s debating courtyard, which is a sight so extraordinary and enchanting even you don’t understand a word they’re saying. Return to the hotel, overnight stay @hotel

    Day 7: Lhasa/Namtso Lake (Breakfast) (220km,4 hours driving, asphalt road in good condition)

    In the morning around 08:00am, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel, and then leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges appear in front of you all the way. In summer (May to August), the sheepherders and their family move to grassland and set up their tents, you could see green grassland, groups of sheep and yaks, nomad tents by the road. Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relaxing trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island. Spending a night at lake shore is fantastic. The night sky is so clean that you could see all the stars twinkling on the sky, which are so close to you as if you could stretch your hands to pick them. Namtso lake is actually the lake in the sky, and it is about 5000m high lies on the highest plateau in the world.

    Day 8: Namtso,Dazhuka,Shigatse (385km, 8-9hours driving) (Breakfast)
    Enjoy the clear morning at the lake shore, and you can trek along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island to explore the meditation caves. After that, continue to Shigatse, the second biggest city in Tibet, you will go through a long distance of rough road between Yanpanchen and Dazhuka, and finally get to Shigatse in the late afternoon.

    Day 09:Shigatse to Gyantse (3,950m/12,955)-90kms(Breakfast)
    Today we visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the open market of Xigaste in the morning time. After getting lunch we start our short drive to Gyantse where you visit the Khumbum Stupa and Phalkot Monastery and overnight. Overnight at hotel
    Day 10:Gyantse to Lhasa (3,650m/11,970)-259kms(Breakfast)
    Today we reach Lhasa after long drive approx 8 hours on the way crossing the Karo La (5010m/16432ft) and Kamba La (4794m/15724ft) pass and Lake YamdrokTso. You will cross the YarlungTsangpo (Brahamaputra) river and see the distant views of the Potala Palace. Overnight at hotel

    Day 11Lhasa -Fly to Cheng Du (Breakfast)
    Today free at leisure until your guide transferred you to the airport. Upon arrival in Cheng du, connecting flight home
